Our origins

Align was founded in 2014 to make direct investments for and alongside single family offices. From the outset, the firm focused on a simple conviction: families who have been successful in a specific vertical are the best experts in those fields, and are well positioned to identify opportunities before institutional investors.
Over more than 30 years, Align’s principals have assembled a proprietary network of 100+ single family offices and sector experts, providing sourcing and partnership opportunities, and a first look at transactions that are proprietary.
